Enjoy affordable gourmet family dining at the truly authentic great old place with ceilings as high as the western skies. The original carved bar is stocked with all the spirits. The face on the saloon floor and the old wall hangings remain inspite of the passing of time. Great fun and food while you experience the historic atmosphere and the open air deck facing the canyon wall.

Under the direction of Rosemarie Pieper, The Historic Western Hotel Restaurant won the 'Best Dessert' and 'Best Table Overall' categories at the Taste of Ouray 2011, along with the ‘People's Choice’, ‘Chocolatier’ and ‘Most Decadent Dessert’ awards at the 2010 Ouray Chocolate & Wine Festival.
